1. Data controller
Debugeo, a software development studio based in Colombia, is responsible for the OurMoments app and this website.
For any question or request about your data, write to privacidad@debugeo.com and mention that it concerns OurMoments. We will never ask for your password by email.
2. Data we process
- Account: email, name, sign-in method (email and password, Google or Apple) and an internal user identifier.
- Profile and couple: optional profile photo, couple photo, anniversary date and the link with your partner.
- Content you create: answers to questions and quizzes, comments, reactions, memories with photos and videos, special days, notes, stories and your mood.
- Photo metadata: date and, when the photo includes them, place coordinates, used to suggest where a memory happened.
- Location: only with your explicit consent. We store only your last position, which is overwritten and never builds a history.
- Technical data: country, language, time zone, device model, app version, notification token, crash reports and usage events.
- Subscription: premium status, product, store and renewal dates. We never receive or store your card details.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service: create your account, pair you with your partner and sync content between both devices.
- To send the reminders and notifications you have turned on.
- To manage the shared premium and recognize purchases made in the store.
- To protect the service against abuse and verify that requests come from the genuine app.
- To detect errors and improve the stability and performance of the app.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for personalized advertising and we do not train artificial intelligence models on your content.
4. Data your partner sees
Once you pair, your partner sees the couple's shared content: answers, comments, memories with their photos and videos, special days, notes, stories, mood and streaks. The app reminds you of this before pairing.
Only the two authenticated members of the couple can read that content. Photos and videos have no public links.
5. Sensitive content
Some questions cover intimate topics such as the relationship, sexuality, health, money or beliefs. Answering is always voluntary and you can skip any question.
If you choose to share this kind of information, we process it only to show it to your partner and provide the service, based on your consent, which you can withdraw by deleting that content or your account.
6. Location
Location is optional and is used only if you grant permission on your device. It powers the distance between you and the distance widget.
We store only your last position, only your partner can see it and we keep no history. You can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings.
7. Providers that help us
- Google Firebase: authentication, database, notifications, crash reports, analytics, app verification and remote configuration.
- Cloudflare: hosting of this website and of the app's server, and private storage of photos, videos and audio.
- RevenueCat: management of subscription status.
- Apple App Store and Google Play: app distribution and subscription billing, under their own policies.
These providers may process data outside your country. We work with them under their data protection terms and only for the purposes described.
8. Retention and deletion
- While your account is active we keep your data to provide the service.
- If you unpair from your partner, the couple's entire shared history is deleted for both of you. Both of you keep your accounts.
- If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and the couple's shared history. Permanent deletion is completed within 30 days at most, including backups.
- We may keep purchase records when the law or the stores require it.
9. Your rights
You can access, update, correct and delete your data, withdraw your consent, object to processing and request a copy of your data by writing to privacidad@debugeo.com.
Under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, we answer queries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days at most. You can also contact the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce or the data protection authority in your country, and exercise the rights granted to you by laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.
10. Minimum age
OurMoments is only for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we delete it.
11. Security
Communications are encrypted in transit, access to each couple's data is limited to its two members and the server verifies the identity behind every request. No system is completely infallible: if we detect an incident that affects you, we will let you know.
12. This website
This site uses no cookies, analytics or third-party resources and runs no JavaScript. The hosting provider may log technical connection data for security.
13. Changes
If we change this policy in a significant way, we will announce it in the app or on this site before the change takes effect. The date of the last update appears at the top.
